In 1991 Narani graduated from the Ohashi Institute in N.Y.C. and was invited to join the staff as an Ohashiatsu Consultant. For a year she saw a multitude of clients under the supervision of Wataru Ohashi, until she opened her own private practice in N.Y.C. Later she modified Ohashiatsu to work in Yampah Spa in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where she practiced shiatsu for over 2 years, until she left for India to continue studying yoga.

In 2001 she completed her certification in Foot Reflexology in N.Y.C. with Wendy Coad. Subsequently, she has studied with Father Joseph, who teaches internationally.  She continues to practice and study this very powerful modality. In 2017 She spent weeks in Thailand, where she studied the Thai approach to reflexology and bodywork. She is incorporating this approach in her own work. She is now able to give the kind of sessions she loves to receive! Come experience the deep relaxation and balancing, which creates better health!

Narani O'Shaughnessy  has been a student of Yoga since 1971. In 1994 she became a certified yoga instructor.  She has  been certified in & teaches Beginner Yoga, Intermediate Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, and Chakra Yoga, and has taught yoga to all populations including people with  HIV/AIDS and  teenagers in the N.Y.C. public school system, and has developed and specialized in Yoga for Abundant Bodies.

She has studied various styles (Iyengar, Kundalini, Ashtanga, Kripalu, Svaroopa) with many teachers (Rodney Yee, Judith Lassiter, Rama Berch, Todd Norian, Rod Stryker) in India, N.Y.C., and Colorado, but her home school is the Integral Yoga Institute in N.Y.C., where she taught for a decade.

Yoga, she believes, is an extremely effective practice for developing and maintaining a sound body, mind, and spirit. It reflects and enhances your life journey; it's a life long process, not a demand to be good at or master postures. One does not have to be flexible, strong, young or "in shape" to do yoga. One becomes more flexible and stronger as she/he practices yoga.  No matter what condition the body is in, it can be modified so you can enjoy and benefit from the practice right now!
